I have always had a passion and desire to travel to Africa and I feel so blessed that God has given me the opportunity to go. For years I have dreamed of living in Africa as a nurse giving everything I have ever been given back and have been amazed at how evident God’s hand has been in guiding my life in that very direction. So here I go to embark on a three month adventure in Eastern Africa! Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, here I come!

I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am loving reading your updates. It is amazing to hear all your stories, as sad as some of them may be, but I love hearing how the Lord is changing your heart to make it more like His as you grow to care more and more about the people you are coming into contact with. I miss you so so much, but you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I saw a picture of a whale the other day and it made me think if you because I know how much you love them :) I love you and miss you!
